Job Requirements
- Texas Class A CDL License for Route and Swing Drivers
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Ability to perform in physically demanding role daily
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to perform basic math and write legibly
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent certificate
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Valid Texas Class A CDL License
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Strong communication skills
- Prior beer, spirits or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience preferred
- Previous distribution or retail customer service experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
Job Duties
- Drives assigned Off Premise or On Premise route delivering product to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Completes deliveries to all scheduled accounts in accordance with Delivery Service Guidelines and compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Unloads, loads and moves product repetitively using appropriate equipment while maintaining organized work areas
- Stocks all windows, cold boxes, coolers, hot shelves and displays efficiently
- Rotates product to maintain quality standards
- Adheres to Andrews service guidelines and administers Swap and Drop procedures as needed
- Maintains delivery documentation including reports on damaged products, returns and inventory control
- Maintains company equipment and vehicles
- Manages Delivery Assistant to ensure proper product handling and customer service
- Communicates effectively with Sales and District Delivery Management
- Leads Delivery Route team ensuring delivery success and training new team members
- Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- Adheres to driving and safety regulations
- Performs all duties professionally and courteously
