Job Duties
- Select and gather products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality
- assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payment
- deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up
- scan and bag orders on the go while adhering to bagging standards
- communicate substitutions or exceptions to customer orders at time of pick-up
- meet or exceed customer expectations for shopping experience, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
- adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
- receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones
- read and follow directions in the note section
- ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen
- communicate with customers professionally via portable phone
- retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations ensuring accuracy
- process orders through the point of sale (POS) system
- maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
- report pricing and item discrepancies and equipment issues to supervisors
- perform opening and closing procedures
- assist in training new e-commerce team members
- meet or exceed productivity standards
- manage conflict cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- provide support through interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
