Job Duties

  • Select and gather products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality
  • assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payment
  • deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up
  • scan and bag orders on the go while adhering to bagging standards
  • communicate substitutions or exceptions to customer orders at time of pick-up
  • meet or exceed customer expectations for shopping experience, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
  • adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
  • receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones
  • read and follow directions in the note section
  • ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen
  • communicate with customers professionally via portable phone
  • retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations ensuring accuracy
  • process orders through the point of sale (POS) system
  • maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
  • report pricing and item discrepancies and equipment issues to supervisors
  • perform opening and closing procedures
  • assist in training new e-commerce team members
  • meet or exceed productivity standards
  • manage conflict cooperatively
  • act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • provide support through interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
