Job Duties

  • Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality
  • Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up
  • Scan and bag orders on the go while following all bagging standards
  • Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customer's order at time of pick-up
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
  • Receive customer orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones
  • Read and follow directions given in the note section
  • Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen
  • Communicate with customers via portable phone and respond in a professional and timely manner
  • Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations and ensure order accuracy
  • Process orders through the POS system
  • Follow policies and procedures for substitutions in case of out-of-stock items
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
  • Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to e-Commerce supervisor
  • Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Assist in training new e-Commerce team members
  • Meet or exceed productivity standards
  • Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments
  • Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues
  • Provide direct interaction support for minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
