Job Duties
- Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality
- Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up
- Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards
- Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers at time of pick-up
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
- Receive customers' orders from Order Selector according to guidelines, store products in optimal temperature zones
- Read and follow directions given in the note section
- Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen
- Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone
- Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations, ensure order accuracy, and load order into customers' cars
- Provide a positive customer service experience
- Process orders through the point of sale system
- Follow policies for substitutions in case of out-of-stock items
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
- Report discrepancies and equipment issues to supervisor
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Assist in training new e-Commerce team members
- Meet productivity standards
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and professionally
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Provide support through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
