Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in personal shopping, warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or cashiering highly desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Proficient with basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Commitment to following company policies and food safety standards
- Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems
Job Duties
- Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality
- Assemble customers' online orders
- Process coupons and payments
- Deliver and load orders to customers' cars upon arrival for pick-up
- Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers at time of pick-up
- Scan and bag orders on the go while following all bagging standards
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
- Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to store supervisor
- Perform required opening and closing procedures
- Assist in training new e-Commerce team members
- Meet and exceed productivity standards
- Follow policies for appropriate substitutions in out-of-stock situations
- Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone
- Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen
- Support customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Adhere to food safety procedures and company guidelines
