Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use chat and video platforms effectively
Basic technical proficiency with computers and online software
Reliable internet connection
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Friendly and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a host or in customer service roles within food service hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not required
Familiarity with hotel guest services or serving roles can be advantageous
Ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences in a professional manner
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem-solving skills
Reliable internet connection and basic technical proficiency for managing online platforms

Job Duties

Host and moderate live online auction events guiding participants through the bidding process in real-time
Engage with bidders via chat or video platforms providing clear instructions and answering questions promptly
Maintain a professional and welcoming presence throughout the auction session
Assist with technical aspects of the online platform to ensure smooth operation during events
Promote upcoming auctions and encourage participation through social media or other communication channels
Coordinate with team members to prepare auction items descriptions and schedules
Address any issues or disruptions during the auction swiftly to maintain a positive experience for all participants
