Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use chat and video platforms effectively
- Basic technical proficiency with computers and online software
- Reliable internet connection
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Friendly and professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or in customer service roles within food service hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with hotel guest services or serving roles can be advantageous
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences in a professional manner
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem-solving skills
- Reliable internet connection and basic technical proficiency for managing online platforms
Job Duties
- Host and moderate live online auction events guiding participants through the bidding process in real-time
- Engage with bidders via chat or video platforms providing clear instructions and answering questions promptly
- Maintain a professional and welcoming presence throughout the auction session
- Assist with technical aspects of the online platform to ensure smooth operation during events
- Promote upcoming auctions and encourage participation through social media or other communication channels
- Coordinate with team members to prepare auction items descriptions and schedules
- Address any issues or disruptions during the auction swiftly to maintain a positive experience for all participants
