Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations
- Answer all incoming calls promptly and courteously
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services and facilities
- Book room reservations while maximizing room revenue and average rate using standard company quoting scenarios
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Department on group bookings
- Update Central Reservations on rates and availability and communicate relevant information to operations staff
- Maintain accurate files and reports
- Handle special reservations such as VIPs, packages, and discounts
- Compile and input information for Rooms Merchandising meetings
- Book and block rooms according to Aimbridge Hospitality guidelines for Group Rooming Lists and Booking Agreements
- Attend Rooms Merchandising meetings and provide input on revenue maximizing trends and opportunities
- Maintain friendly, helpful, and courteous behavior toward guests, managers, and fellow employees
- Complete forecasts as required by management
- Monitor daily sales activity and alert management of sold-out nights, group ceiling status, and potential problems
- Perform duties of Reservations Agent and assist at the front desk as needed
- Attend meetings as requested by management
