Job Requirements

  • at least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field with supervisory experience required
  • prefer a 2-year college degree with 3 or more years of related experience or a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience
  • effective in handling stressful high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity
  • compliance with certification requirements including food handlers alcohol awareness cpr and first aid

Job Duties

  • deliver exceptional service in all food and beverage areas ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere for guests and employees
  • manage financial aspects of the department including budgeting and revenue improvement to meet and exceed targets
  • anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  • clearly convey information and ideas listen to and resolve concerns and maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders
  • utilize windows operating systems spreadsheets and word processing tools for effective management and reporting
  • motivate coach and discipline food and beverage personnel ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures
