Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum 1 year experience in hotel or event coordination
  • proficiency in Windows operating systems
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to make quick decisions accurately
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • problem-solving aptitude
  • basic math skills

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year of relevant hotel or event experience
  • proficient in Windows operating systems
  • strong verbal and written communication skills

  • comfortable working with financial information and basic math

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and negotiate all event details including menus, setups, and sleeping rooms
  • collaborate with clients to identify upsell opportunities
  • respond to inquiries and book events
  • prepare contracts and banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • distribute weekly event packets and critical date reminders
  • post employee schedules and assist with event collateral such as vouchers and signage
  • organize files and manage VIP requests
  • type and distribute all correspondence
  • handle phone calls and messages
  • maintain updated trace logs for the catering team
  • maintain a friendly and attentive attitude
  • ensure sharp personal appearance
  • adhere to company standards
  • provide support wherever needed
