Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years progressive experience in hotel or related field
- Supervisory experience required
- Proficient in Windows operating systems
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Quick and accurate decision making skills
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Effective problem handling skills
- Capacity to assimilate complex data and adjust accordingly

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including uniform adherence
- Comply with company standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations
- Prepare schedules and wage progress reports for all Banquet associates
- Prepare payroll and tip distribution for the Banquet department
- Assist in setup, service and breakdown of banquet functions
- Coordinate banquet food and beverage requirements with relevant departments
- Recruit, hire, train and evaluate all banquet personnel
- Review menu and service plans with the Catering and Food Production Managers
- Maintain up to date banquet function details and communicate to supervisors
- Conduct ongoing training of banquet staff to maintain service and guest satisfaction
- Respond promptly to guests' requests
- Prepare banquet checks and manage payment procedures
- Manage inventory and requisition supplies including liquor for banquet bars
- Ensure safety, sanitation and cleanliness of service areas
- Implement loss prevention programs
- Attend weekly Food and Beverage meetings and participate in M.O.D. coverage
- Conduct menu classes and attend daily BEO meetings
- Maintain professional relationships and promote open communication
- Control and audit alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Review banquet staff hours for payroll processing
- Supervise banquet captains and hourly staff
- Assist with special promotions
- Maintain service equipment and write service requests
- Cross-train in other Food and Beverage outlets
- Assist audio/visual company as needed
- Operate POS system
- Address hazards and report to management
- Manage supply orders and inventory
- Handle Lost and Found items per standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
