Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3+ years of field service, supply chain or aviation shop experience or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of field service, supply chain or aviation shop experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college preferred
- Minimum 3 years of field service, supply chain, or aviation shop experience
- High school diploma or GED with additional 4 years of relevant experience acceptable
- Project management experience
- LEAN and quality function knowledge
- Technical expertise in aviation commercial tooling
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is preferred
- Technical understanding and drawing interpretation skills
- Experience working in matrix organizations
- Forklift operator training
Job Duties
- Manage onsite special tooling inventory including location control and dock inspections
- Support shipments and coordinate reverse logistics for field-deployed assets
- Lead annual physical inventory and monthly cycle counts
- Oversee calibration compliance for special and hand tools and manage relationships with calibration vendors
- Act as super-user of Indysoft system for data entry and scheduling proactive re-calibrations
- Manage tool crib and ensure LEAN layout and organized storage in the facility
- Provide operational support for eWMS including inventory maintenance and user training
- Collaborate with site engineers, planners, quality, and LEAN leaders to support productivity and cost reduction
- Communicate and resolve issues with technicians and liaise with other sites and HQ
- Support EH&S frameworks, quality investigations, ergonomic improvements, and digital program implementations
- Maintain presence with Global Tooling organization and Pilot Maersk team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
