Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current certification as a paramedic
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS certification
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience in OSHA occupational health regulations preferred

Job Duties
- Work independently without direct or on-site supervision following company policies and protocols
- Respond to on-site emergency situations and make decisions without supervision
- Treat all injuries from minor first aides to significant medical events
- Perform drug and alcohol testing following all policies and procedures of the employer and client
- Determine need to initiate local emergency medical response to the site
- Triage patients and assist in determining medical problems, administer IV's and medications
- Participate in local emergency response coordination
- Prepare scene for first responders, communicate emergency response needs to the employer and client
- Communicate urgent needs to increase level of patient care
- Assist in claims investigation and support return to work program
- Determine appropriate referral for injuries not able to be treated on site
- Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens through routine in-house testing procedures, analyze and prepare for testing, and log results
- Document patient care and procedures utilizing appropriate forms and electronic medical records system
- Provide reporting and serve as point of contact for client's questions related to work related injuries, treatments summaries, drug test reporting and other requested information
- Perform other duties as assigned
