Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months or more experience in customer service
  • Ability to work part time on call hours
  • Willingness to live on site in a provided guest room
  • Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and guest needs
  • Knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • Ability to handle cash securely
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform routine property and security checks
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months or more experience in customer service
  • Cash-handling experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with hospitality guest management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Job Duties

  • Respond to guest needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner both in person and on the phone after office hours
  • Call GM immediately regarding safety and security issues or urgent concerns
  • Utilize and follow all safety and security procedures
  • Establish good communication and professional relationships with guests
  • Ensure an excellent first impression for all guests and potential guests
  • Offer assistance and concierge services regarding hotel and community
  • Ensure a warm and welcoming check-in and departure experience
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, sales and operations teams
  • Assist in processing laundry
  • Handle secure cash processing procedures
  • Manage confidential information for company and guests
  • Administer key control procedures
  • Conduct routine property security walks
  • Ensure all storage and employee areas are secured nightly
  • Verify ID and provide access for locked-out guests
  • Assist guests with minor maintenance issues
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Keep property clean and free of trash
  • Follow on call schedule from 9 pm to 8 am
