Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Professional designations from Community Associations Institute (CAI) strongly preferred
  • Experience in community management or related field

  • Ability to create and maintain budgets
  • Ability to review and analyze financial reports

Job Duties

  • Maintain communication with the community board of directors and homeowners
  • Schedule and prepare for regular board meetings
  • Respond to homeowner needs in a timely manner
  • Prepare and present the annual budget to the board of directors
  • Analyze monthly financial reports and create variance reports for the board of directors
  • Create monthly management reports
  • Contact and coordinate vendors for community maintenance and special projects
  • Oversee daily operations of the HOA
  • Attend regular meetings with the management firm
  • Supervise administrative and maintenance staff where applicable
  • Manage all short- and long-term objectives and goals of the HOA
  • Develop and recommend the annual operating budget and mid-year forecast with the assistance of on-site HOA committees
  • Recommend all third-party service providers and contractors and manage their activity
  • Recommend aesthetic, maintenance, and safety improvements to the community on a monthly basis
  • Attend and contribute to committee meetings including finance, infrastructure, landscaping, marine, and security
  • Supervise the on-site work order process
  • Work with third-party professionals to accomplish objectives including engineers, legal firms, insurance firms, construction management firms, and marketing firms
  • Recommend and ensure execution of emergency and storm management activity
  • Perform other job functions as assigned including personal management of on-site staff
