Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities
high level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

Demonstrated customer service skills
planning and organizational skills
ability to stand 6-8 hours per day, bending frequently
able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
good communication skills, oral and written
ability to work independently or as part of a team
able to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers

Job Duties

Greet donors
deliver courteous and respectful service
assist with receiving and recording donations
safeguard donations until collected
maintain a clean and organized donation site
place any flags, banners, balloons or signage in visible, attractive manner
become knowledgeable of charity's purpose
