Job Requirements
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Capability to stand and remain mobile for entire shifts
- Compliance with safety policies and store procedures
- Completion of initial orientation and training
- Active engagement by picking up shifts at least once every 4 weeks
- Ability to communicate with team and respond to contact attempts
- Ability to operate equipment safely if certified
- Ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Capability to remain focused in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use technology tools like mobile apps and scanners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow multi-step processes
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience for guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a helpful and friendly manner to meet their needs
- Ensure sales floor is fully stocked, zoned, and organized across all departments
- Assist with receiving and stocking product from truck unloads
- Execute adjacency changes, price changes, and sales plan transitions
- Conduct weekly audits and ensure pricing accuracy and promotional signage
- Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, exterior areas, and sales floor
- Accurately operate cash registers as needed
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive-up (DU)
- Follow safety policies and demonstrate ethical conduct at all times
- Use technology such as handheld scanners and scheduling apps to complete duties
