Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable attendance and engagement with shift scheduling requirements
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
  • Must be able to stand and remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • Ability to comply with safety and conduct policies
  • Must respond to contact attempts regarding shift availability
  • Willingness to undergo structured training and orientation

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs in a welcoming way
  • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve guest issues
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist guests with application and sign-up
  • Support order pick-up, drive up, and registry guest services
  • Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Handle cash register operations and support cash office processes as needed
  • Partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experiences
  • Stock supplies and assist with store needs
  • Follow all safety policies and report hazards
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to store operations
