Job Requirements
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- capability of lifting and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- accurate handling of cash register operations and cash transactions
- ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of the shift
- active engagement in picking up and working shifts via the myTime mobile app at least once every 4 weeks
- respond promptly to contact attempts from leadership
- must work at least one shift within 6 months to avoid administrative termination

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their needs
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to solve guest issues
- thank guests in a genuine way and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- promote current and upcoming store activities, brand launches, and Target loyalty programs
- assist guests with application or sign-up for Target services
- attempt every return and partner with leaders to resolve guest concerns
- de-escalate negative situations and recover guest shopping experience
- deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
- support guest services and cash office processes as needed
- perform all other duties based on business needs
