Job Requirements
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to lift up to 44 pounds
- capability to remain mobile and stand for the duration of a shift
- active engagement in picking up shifts at least once every four weeks
- complete required training and orientation
- compliance with safety policies and procedures
- ability to handle cash register operations and cash transactions
- respond to contacts from management regarding shift availability
- exposure to varying temperatures and conditions during some duties

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available to improve guest experience
- thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target
- scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- speak to the benefits of Target loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
- show guests how to use Wallet and features of the Target App
- process returns and follow register prompts while partnering with leaders as needed
- de-escalate situations and recover guest experiences in partnership with leaders
- provide service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while being available for guests
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely and report hazards
- support guest services and compliance with laws
- assist with Cash Office processes
- perform other duties based on business needs
