Job Requirements
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times
- reliable attendance and promptness
- able to respond to shift offers at least once every four weeks
- physical ability to handle merchandise up to 44 pounds
- capable of working in varying temperatures and remaining mobile for the duration of shifts
- willingness to participate in training and orientation
- compliance with safety and ethical conduct standards
- ability to handle cash register operations and support cash office functions
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- effective communication skills including positive language and attentiveness to guests
- ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- proficiency with handheld scanners and technology devices

- cash handling skills and accuracy

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve the guest experience
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards
- minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
- promote and assist guests with Target Loyalty programs and store services
- support order pick up, drive up, and registry guests with easy and accurate service
- maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies
- support cash office processes and manage cash systems as needed
- manage guest returns and partner with leaders to de-escalate situations while following policies
- work safely and comply with all safety policies and procedures
