Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- capability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- flexibility to work a varying schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable attendance and active engagement in shift selection
- ability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile during shifts
- successful completion of Target's orientation and training program
- willingness to comply with safety and ethical standards

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks
- engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the store to improve guest experience
- thank guests and express appreciation for choosing Target
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- inform guests about current and upcoming promotions and store events
- promote and assist guests with Target Loyalty programs and fulfillment services
- help guests use the Target app and its features
- process returns and partner with leaders to resolve issues following company policies
- assist leaders in de-escalating situations and recovering guest experiences
- provide service for order pick-up, drive-up, and registry guests
- maintain clean and organized work areas
- stock supplies while remaining available to guests
- adhere to ethical conduct, safety, and compliance standards
- support guest services including compliance with federal and local regulations
- assist cash office operations as needed
- perform other duties based on business needs
