Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Minimum age requirement as per local labor laws
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Capacity to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions
- Active engagement in picking up shifts at least once every four weeks
- Response to all communication attempts from Target management
- Completion of Target Welcome orientation and training
- Must work at least one shift within every 6 months and starting December 2024, within 5 months
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency with mobile apps and technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest experience
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests authentically
- Engage with guests to understand their needs and provide assistance
- Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- Promote Target loyalty programs and assist guests with enrollment
- Handle returns and de-escalate negative situations as needed
- Support order pick up, Drive Up, and registry guest services
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Support cash office operations as needed
