Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • reliable attendance and promptness
  • engagement in shift selection and communication responsiveness
  • ability to operate mobile scheduling app
  • capacity to work in varying environmental conditions
  • ability to remain mobile during scheduled shifts
  • compliance with safety guidelines and company policies
  • ability to handle cash register operations and transactions
  • commitment to complete orientation and training sessions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to improve guest experience
  • thank guests and let them know we appreciate their choice to shop at Target
  • scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately while following safety standards
  • work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
  • assist guests with Target Loyalty program enrollment and usage
  • understand and demonstrate the use of Target App features
  • handle guest returns adding assistance from leaders as needed
  • partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experience
  • deliver accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
  • maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
  • stock supplies during store hours
  • demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
  • work safely while complying with policies and training
  • support guest services like order pick up and Drive-Up
  • support cash office processes including cash system management
  • perform other business-related duties as required
