Job Requirements
- ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times
- active engagement by picking up and working shifts as well as responding to attempts at contact
- work at least one shift within 5 months or risk administrative termination
- capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to frequently lift or move product up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance

- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

- willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

- accurately handle cash register operations, cash transactions, and support cash office operations as needed
Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
- make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- know and speak to the benefits of target loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- partner with leaders as needed to de-escalate any situations and recover the guest shopping experience while following target policies and procedures
- maintain a clean, clutter free work area including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers
- support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up, and registry guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work in a safe manner at all times
- comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training
- support cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems
