Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to commit to picking up and working shifts regularly
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Capability to work in varying environmental conditions
- Physical ability to stand or move for extended periods
- Completion of required orientation and training
- Compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Active engagement in responding to scheduling communications
- Willingness to work flexible hours including peak times
- Must respond to contact attempts and pick up at least one shift every four weeks
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely

- Enthusiasm for engaging with customers and providing excellent service
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to improve the guest experience
- Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target
- Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with safety standards and best practices
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service accuracy
- Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment and usage
- Understand and demonstrate features of the Target App to guests
- Manage returns and follow register prompts in accordance with company policies
- Partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experiences
- Deliver easy and accurate service to order pick up, drive up, and registry guests
- Maintain clean and clutter free work areas
- Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work safely and comply with all safety policies and training
- Support guest services such as order pick up and drive up orders and maintain compliance with regulations
- Assist with cash office processes and cash system management
- Perform additional duties based on business needs
