Job Requirements

  • Must be age 24 or older to apply
  • valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is required
  • flexible schedule to accommodate variable work hours
  • valid Texas driver's license
  • observant and attention to detail
  • capable of using technology for navigation and dispatch
  • able and resilient to changing schedules and job requirements
  • sense of urgency, initiative, and follow-through
  • desire to work in a team environment
  • proactive thinker and responsive to changes
  • proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • employment eligible based on background check, clean MVR, health and drug screen
  • 2 years of recent professional driving experience preferred
  • ability to walk up steep gangways and stairs without fear of heights
  • ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • able to load/unload heavy equipment with moderate assistance
  • able to walk moderate distances
  • able to work indoors and outdoors in inclement weather
  • able to stand and sit for long periods
  • able to enter and exit vehicles multiple times per day
  • average or good vision

Job Qualifications

  • Must be age 24 or older

  • 2 years of recent professional driving experience preferred
  • employment eligibility includes passing criminal background check, clean motor vehicle record, health and drug screening
  • ability to adapt to variable work hours
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • proactive thinking and responsiveness

Job Duties

  • Conduct vehicle inspections
  • manage the loading and unloading of cargo
  • ensure accuracy and compliance of transport documents
  • maneuver trailers in heavy traffic, ports, and airport locations
  • provide excellent customer service and professionalism
  • operate forklift for loading and unloading equipment
  • coordinate timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • communicate frequently with dispatch
  • be on call including evenings 1-2 hours per week to support 24/7 operations
