Job Requirements
- experience in pastry/bakery
- current Food Handlers Certification in compliance with California laws
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- ability to stand for entire shift
- ability to withstand temperature variations, including outdoor work
- must adhere to company service culture
- participate in meetings and trainings
- maintain proper uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- experience in pastry/bakery is required
- experience in a resort or related field preferred
- current Food Handlers Certification in compliance with California laws
Job Duties
- adhere to the company service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life
- actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort
- participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
- maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming, and proper uniform/business attire
- produce and ensure quality of baked goods such as breakfast pastries, breads, cakes, cold desserts, and various pastries
- follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients correctly
- operate commercial kitchen and bake shop equipment safely
- be responsible for individual BEO and/or single outlet production
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation at workstation and work areas
- assist in training new employees as needed
- abide by all resort policies and safety rules
- perform other duties as requested by management
