Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • food handlers certification required
  • ability to work flexible and long hours
  • physical ability to stand for entire shift
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • ability to work in varying temperature conditions including outdoors
  • excellent personal appearance and grooming
  • willingness to participate in team and training programs
  • compliance with all safety and resort policies

Job Qualifications

  • experience in a resort or related field preferred
  • experience in pastry/bakery required
  • current food handlers certification compliant with California laws
  • ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
  • excellent attention to detail in recipe execution

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s service culture - 4 keys to creating guests for life
  • actively participate in team member referral program and act as a talent ambassador
  • participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including uniform and nametag
  • produce and ensure quality of baked goods such as breakfast pastries, breads, cakes, cold desserts, and assorted pastries
  • follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately
  • operate commercial kitchen and bake shop equipment safely
  • manage individual banquet event order and/or single outlet production
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at workstation and work areas
  • assist in training new employees when needed
  • comply with all resort policies and safety rules
  • perform other duties as requested by management
