Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar cleaning roles preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs
  • Ability to operate light cleaning equipment
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly
  • Physical stamina and endurance
  • Attention to safety and detail
  • Willingness to follow company rules and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel and housekeeping operations
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

  • Understanding of cleaning agents and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Receive list of rooms and public spaces to be cleaned
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including setup of housekeeping cart
  • Change bed linens and scrub as required
  • Reach overhead to dust and clean tops of equipment
  • Move light furniture to clean underneath
  • Practice safe use of cleaning agents and wear personal protective equipment
  • Remove trash and dirty linen from guest suites
  • Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed
  • Report missing items to Executive Housekeeper
  • Use two-way radios, telephones, and housekeeping equipment
  • Ensure proper care of equipment and report maintenance needs
  • Maintain personal appearance and uniform compliance
  • Demonstrate professional and friendly demeanor
  • Communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • Comply with brand standards and safety regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and hotel events
  • Be familiar with hotel policies and procedures
