Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain within two weeks
- current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 18 months
- valid driver's license, auto insurance and transportation
- CPR certified or ability to obtain within 18 months
- ability to lift 25lbs regularly and up to 50lbs
- ability to ascend stairs and move on city sidewalks
- pass pre-employment screening
- ability to work in fast-paced environment with significant people interaction
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- CPR certified or ability to obtain within 18 months
- proven experience managing and retaining volunteers
- bilingual/cultural proficiency preferred
- excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to work with diverse populations including minority and low-income groups
- strong problem-solving abilities
- proficiency with computer applications and MS Office
- ability to quickly learn new software and client data systems
Job Duties
- Manage on-time delivery of meals to home-bound participants following standards
- schedule volunteer drivers for each route daily
- maintain route books with accurate delivery information and make adjustments
- follow up with participants if delivery fails
- manage participant care including reassessments and alerting coordinators on high-risk cases
- perform meal delivery when volunteer coverage is missing
- assist site manager with hunger relief services
- assist in screening, registration, and training of volunteers
- maintain and update client and volunteer information
- complete all assigned administrative tasks
- support agency events and fundraising initiatives
- participate in training and meetings
- uphold mission, vision, values, and strategic plan
- perform other duties as assigned
