Job Requirements
- This is a seasonal, on-call position
- availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must have valid driver's license with 3 years of experience
- ability to be insured to drive a city vehicle
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- training will be provided
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience with community events or public engagement preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- valid driver's license with 3 years of driving experience
- ability to be insured to drive a city vehicle
Job Duties
- Manage volunteers during events
- answer general questions, greet visitors, and engage the community in a positive, inclusive, and energetic manner
- work autonomously in conjunction with city staff
- support event staff as needed
- assist with pre-event setup and post-event teardown, including lifting, carrying, and placing signage and equipment up to 50 pounds
