Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is an asset
- ability to operate floor cleaning machinery is beneficial
- proficiency in English highly recommended for communication
- capable of following detailed cleaning instructions
- good organizational skills
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas
- cleaning and restocking restrooms
- empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags
- cleaning corridors and stairwells
- removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces
- vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
- operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines if applicable
- cleans and polishes furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures
- restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- periodically cleans overhead vents and dust blinds
- proficiency in English to enhance communication
- miscellaneous duties as assigned
