Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation preferred
- Food Handler certificate or willingness to obtain
- Valid and current driver's license where applicable
- Ability to work on-call hours
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience within a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company preferred
- Basic knife skills
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment
- Use a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handler certificate
- Must possess a valid and current driver's license where applicable
Job Duties
- Prepare all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices
- Assist kitchen attendant as needed
- Handle kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
- Use a Point of Sale (POS) system for relevant transactions
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization
