Job Requirements
- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade
- One year of cooking experience in school lunch, restaurant, café/deli, catering, or institutional food service
- Must possess a valid Oregon Food Handler's Card
- Must pass thorough background investigation including criminal, civil, driving, military, educational, and employment history
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds preferred
- Ability to push/pull 200-400 pounds preferred
- Some positions may require a valid driver's license

- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of cooking experience in a school lunch, restaurant, café/deli, catering, or institutional food service
- Valid Oregon Food Handler's Card
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible, on-call shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes including special dietary needs
- Clean and sanitize utensils, equipment, and food preparation areas
- Receive food orders and rotate inventory
- Assist with meal preparation for catering events and café service
- Follow USDA and Food Service Safety Plan procedures
- Support culinary job training for youth when applicable
- Maintain records and assist with nutrition and administrative reports
