Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet or catering service preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Flexibility to work on-call and during varied hours
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry particularly in banquet or catering settings is preferred
  • Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • Excellent guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations
  • Experience in bussing serving and managing food service operations
  • Background in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications including table arrangements and decor
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes throughout the event
  • Ensure all food safety and handling guidelines are followed
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas including dining spaces and kitchens
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during events
  • Address guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist in food preparation as needed ensuring quality standards are met
