Job Description

The Banquet Server plays an essential role within the banquet team at a hospitality establishment, serving as a vital link between the Executive Chef, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, and guests during food and beverage operations. Typically employed at hotels, conference centers, or event venues, this position is pivotal in ensuring seamless banquet and dining functions. Job Requirements

  • Must have 1-2 years of related experience in F&B
  • knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
  • must have food and beverage/a la carte and banquet experience
  • must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented
  • must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • must have strong service orientation
  • must be available nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Perform the correct policies and procedures
  • assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
  • provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining
  • ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests
  • responsible for serving clients during events (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.)
  • perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
