Job Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Warm, professional demeanor reflecting company culture

Job Qualifications

  • Combination of education and experience
  • Special certifications such as bartender certification preferred
  • Knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions
  • Ability to handle point-of-sale systems
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local alcohol service laws
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Mix and garnish beverages according to standards
  • Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Accurately total, process and collect payments using the point-of-sale system
  • Stock and maintain the bar including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, and glassware
  • Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of service bar and service areas
  • Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in point-of-sale system
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders
  • Ensure bar/serving stations are well-stocked
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Perform other duties or projects as needed
