Job Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods and move around the bar area
Ability to lift and carry items, such as bottles and kegs, up to 25 pounds
Ability to work in a loud, crowded, and fast-paced environment
Certification in alcohol service may be required depending on local regulations
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Previous bartending experience preferred

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience, particularly in a banquet or event setting, is preferred
Experience in customer service and cash handling is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Alcohol Service Certification (preferred)
Food Safety and Sanitation certification may be required

Job Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and event specifications
Mix, garnish, and serve drinks efficiently, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
Make beverage recommendations based on guest preferences or event theme
Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Take drink orders from guests at the bar or through event staff, ensuring timely and attentive service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, shelves, and storage
Serve alcohol in compliance with legal drinking age laws and company policies
Assist in setting up the bar area for special events, ensuring all supplies and equipment are in place
Monitor inventory levels for alcoholic beverages, mixers, and bar supplies
Work effectively with other bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth event operations
