Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in bartending or related food and beverage service
- knowledge of applicable alcohol laws and regulations
- ability to provide excellent guest service
- strong attention to detail and sanitation practices
- capability to manage cash and payment procedures
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- availability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior bartending experience preferred
- knowledge of state and county ABC laws and regulations
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- understanding of beverage preparation and service techniques
- familiarity with Point of Sale systems
- commitment to professionalism and guest service
- ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Complete and stay current on all mandated training and certifications
- follow hotel procedures for documenting alcohol related incidents
- ensure bar, stations, utensils, equipment, and food and beverage areas are maintained in sanitary conditions
- set up bar and reception station according to hotel and brand standards
- demonstrate hospitality and professionalism at all times
- handle cash and charge receipts with accountability
- know beverage menus, recipes, portions, glassware, and garnishes
- order, pick up, and serve foods as ordered
- maintain consistent attention to guests and respond promptly
- store all equipment, food, and beverages appropriately
- maintain uniform in exemplary fashion including non-slip shoes
- work various shifts as scheduled
- report safety or repair concerns to supervisor
- complete all assigned pre- and post-shift tasks
