Job Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • at least one year experience as a bartender in medium to high volume environment
  • must be 21 years of age
  • RBS certification required
  • food handlers certification required
  • TIPS certification required

Job Duties

  • Complete opening duties as assigned including checking bar stock and supplies requisitioning necessary items setting bar according to service standards preparing fruit garnishes ensuring supply of flatware glassware and chinaware maintaining cleanliness of station
  • take guests beverage orders using suggestive selling techniques
  • record orders in point of sale system and receive payment following procedures
  • adhere to payment cash handling and credit policies
  • make and serve alcoholic beverages for guests and servers according to service standards
  • open wine and champagne bottles and serve appropriately
  • anticipate guests needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
  • monitor cleanliness sanitation and organization of assigned station
  • remove soiled wares clean and wipe down bar regularly
  • collect and report tips at shift end
  • complete closing duties including storing reusable goods cleaning equipment restocking items removing trash preparing breakage sheet
  • complete closing reports and report to supervisor
  • follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned
