Job Requirements

  • Part-time availability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with live broadcasting and content creation
  • Knowledge of FCC guidelines
  • Ability to manage social media effectively
  • Experience with production equipment and digital audio systems
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communicator with strong creative skills
  • Solid production skills and working knowledge of studio audio equipment including on-air digital systems such as Audio Vault, Wide Orbit, VoxPro, and Adobe Audition
  • Knowledge of the format and audience
  • Familiarity with FCC guidelines
  • Excellent on-air voice with a demonstrated track record in media
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record check
  • Proof of insurance if using own vehicle

Job Duties

  • Host or co-host shows that provide entertaining and community-driven content
  • Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
  • Participate in and create content for all social media platforms managing online personality presence
  • Protect the station’s FCC license
  • Monitor music and commercial logs for the airshift
  • Ensure promotions and contests are executed properly
  • Operate the control board and perform production work
  • Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
  • Perform other duties as required by management
