Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with FCC regulations
- Ability to create engaging live and recorded content
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in operating radio control boards and related production equipment
- Willingness to work part-time and commit to in-studio schedules
- Creative thinking and a passion for music and popular culture
Job Qualifications
- Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills
- Strong knowledge of all music and popular culture relevant to the station's target demographic
- Familiar with FCC guidelines
- Experience with Wide Orbit, Vox Pro, Adobe Audition preferred
- At least 2 years of on air experience preferred but not required
- Passion and enthusiasm is essential
Job Duties
- Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
- Participate and create original content for all social media platforms
- manage online personality presence
- Protect the station’s FCC license
- Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
- Operate the control board and perform production work
- Perform other duties as required by management
