Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English speaking, reading, writing, and understanding
  • Ability to acquire and maintain valid passport and travel documents
  • Ability to report to assigned base within 2 hours
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work flexible and extended schedules including nights, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to work long flight duty periods and extended deadhead travel
  • Pass FAA drug test and background checks
  • Comply with TSA pre-employment requirements
  • Attend and complete Omni Flight Attendant training
  • Ability to open emergency exits and operate aircraft doors
  • Physical endurance to stand, walk, lift heavy items up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to manage work in confined spaces and exposure to allergens
  • Willingness to relocate or commute to assigned base
  • Must physically fit in assigned jump seat with seatbelt and harness fastened

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English speaking, reading, writing, and understanding
  • Ability to acquire and maintain valid passport and travel documents
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • BA/BS college degree preferred or related experience
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • Ability to handle flight duty periods of 20 hours or more
  • Ability to work variable duty days including extended periods away from base
  • Pass FAA mandated pre-employment drug test
  • Pass 10-year background check including FAA fingerprint-based criminal history
  • Willingness to comply with TSA pre-employment checks
  • Meet Federal Aviation Administration regulations
  • Successfully complete Omni Flight Attendant training
  • Physical ability to open emergency exits and operate aircraft doors
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, and lift heavy weights up to 60 lbs

Job Duties

  • Provide exemplary customer service to exceed customer satisfaction
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure at all times
  • Effectively communicate verbally including public address announcements, safety demonstrations, and delivering timely informational updates
  • Interact professionally with diverse passengers from various cultures
  • Assist passengers needing special assistance including unaccompanied minors, individuals with special needs, and elderly passengers
  • Perform all work activities according to established standards, policies, laws, Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and respond effectively during emergency situations
  • Provide emergency medical assistance such as CPR and basic first aid
  • Ensure full compliance with aircraft and passenger safety policies, procedures, regulations, and guidance
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and meals
  • Receive and process payments for purchased items
  • Act as a courteous source of information and initiate service recovery when needed
  • Assist crew and passengers during emergency situations and follow Omni established emergency procedures
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Perform pre-flight and security checks, reporting discrepancies
  • Maintain professional appearance and compliance with uniform guidelines
  • Manage time and adapt work activities to changing conditions
  • Comply with laws, regulations and procedures of states and jurisdictions where operations occur
  • Operate mechanical and safety equipment such as stairs, oxygen systems, evacuation slides, fire extinguishers, and communications equipment
  • Communicate clearly in writing to complete reports and paperwork
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Purser or Inflight Management
