Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or beverage service preferred
- Knowledge of relevant food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Capacity to handle cash transactions accurately
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage preparation
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards including HAACP
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate transactions
- Willingness to learn about wine and cocktail selections
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Preps bar area for shift
- Produces most bar items to include both alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages according to specifications
- Operates POS system, entering orders and verifying order accuracy
- Maintains a cash drawer for cashing out orders and making change when appropriate
- Performs opening and closing duties, as well as cleaning duties
- Stocks all bar products and assists with bar inventory
- Sanitizes the entire bar area throughout shift and at end of shift
- Verifies legal drinking age of guest and monitors alcoholic beverage consumption
- Receives, stores, and rotates food products in accordance with food safety, HAACP and sanitation procedures
- Discuss wine and drink menu items with guests and assists with their selection
- Learns common wine selection knowledge
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties within the restaurant as specified
- Performs other duties as assigned
