Job Requirements
- Legal ability to work in the US
- Ability to lift 15-45 lbs
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hour shifts
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

- Ability to handle demanding customer situations calmly
- Ability to work without constant direct supervision

- Ability to provide clear telephone communication with guests and staff

Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Minimum two years hosting experience preferably in hotel or upscale establishment
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive, outgoing, and friendly personality
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to work productively with other departments as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Knowledge of the resort’s philosophy and practices
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Attend and participate in all required meetings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and entrance
- Manage reservation book, confirm reservations and update waitlists
- Monitor dining room environment and anticipate guest needs
- Enforce hotel standards, policies, and safety procedures
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly while notifying management
