Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience serving food and beverages in an upscale or fine dining environment is preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be legally eligible to serve alcoholic beverages and verify customer age
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to complete necessary certifications such as TIPs

  • Fluency in the English language

  • Thorough knowledge of proper steps of service

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, take orders, correctly enter food and beverages into the POS terminal, and ensure efficient delivery of both
  • Ensuring the proper age of customers before serving alcoholic beverages
  • Present food, cocktails, beer, wine and drinks in an elegant manner
  • Cleaning, clearing tables, and returning plates and utensils to the kitchen area
  • Engage with and anticipate the needs of guests as well as your co-workers and management
  • Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard
  • Ensure cleanliness throughout the shift of the lounge, behind the bar and restaurant areas
