Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience serving food and beverages in an upscale or fine dining environment is preferred
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be legally eligible to serve alcoholic beverages and verify customer age
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to complete necessary certifications such as TIPs

Job Qualifications

Experience serving food and beverage in a fine dining or upscale establishment
Fluency in the English language
Professional appearance and demeanor
Thorough knowledge of proper steps of service
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Warm and sincere approach to guest service
Enjoy working in a fast paced, sometimes noisy environment
Ability to provide service efficiently while conveying a warm and friendly demeanor
High energy, flexible and adaptable
Ability to remember orders with accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
Ability to exercise patience and diplomacy
Ability to multitask
Take initiative
Ability to work without constant, direct supervision
Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry in a similar position
TIPs certification
Fluency in a foreign language, preferably Spanish
CPR certification

Job Duties

Greet guests, take orders, correctly enter food and beverages into the POS terminal, and ensure efficient delivery of both
Ensuring the proper age of customers before serving alcoholic beverages
Present food, cocktails, beer, wine and drinks in an elegant manner
Cleaning, clearing tables, and returning plates and utensils to the kitchen area
Engage with and anticipate the needs of guests as well as your co-workers and management
Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard
Ensure cleanliness throughout the shift of the lounge, behind the bar and restaurant areas
