Job Requirements
- Minimum two years experience as a bartender in an upscale or fine dining establishment
- Fluency in the English language
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Thorough knowledge of proper service
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- High energy, flexible and adaptable
- Experience with food and beverage point-of-sale systems, preferably Micros
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work without constant, direct supervision
- Ability to exercise patience and diplomacy
- Ability to provide service efficiently while conveying a warm and friendly demeanor

Job Duties
- Offer guests in the restaurants an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience
- Dispense, serve, and/or mix all beverages in a timely and efficient manner
- Present cocktails, beer and wine drinks in an elegant manner
- Engage with and anticipate the needs of guests
- Ascertain guests' satisfaction and attempt to handle guest issues, notifying manager when necessary
- Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
- Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard
- Present menus and explanations for all menu items as well as specials of the day
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to print and close checks, and handle cash transactions according to OVI protocols
- Responsible for proper cash handling procedures and bank reconciliation, properly process daily reports
- Ensure cleanliness throughout the shift of the bar and restaurant areas
