Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in a security position
- Majority of experience should be in a front desk capacity
- Excellent computer skills
- Valid FL Security D License
- Valid FL Driver's License
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Ability to perform physical duties including crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid FL Security D License
- Valid FL Driver's License
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Minimum of three years of security experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
Job Duties
- Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
- Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
- Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival
- Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
- Monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and other criminal behavior
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
- Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking and possession of prohibited items
- Respond to calls of distress, alarms and emergencies such as fire, injuries or unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
- Identify and report any concerns including safety, security breaches, and unusual circumstances in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation such as reports and documents
- Ensure all rules and regulations are being enforced and followed
- Perform other duties as determined by operations
