Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum four years of experience in culinary or related field OR two-year degree from an accredited institution and two years of experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation certifications
  • Ability to work full time and manage multiple shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capacity to develop and mentor staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years of culinary, food and beverage, or related professional experience
  • OR two-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
  • Two years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs
  • Effective communication and employee coaching skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage kitchen staff and daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare food items personally and execute menu requests
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers
  • Ensure compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Assist Executive Chef with kitchen operations and inventory management
  • Develop new culinary ideas and decorative food presentations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address guest satisfaction concerns
