Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-10 years of experience in terminal, warehouse, or logistics operations
- minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5-10 years of experience in terminal, warehouse, or logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Job Duties
- Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Plan, organize, and oversee terminal operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient workflow
- Manage loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch activities
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement process improvements
- Direct day-to-day operations, compliance and Over-The-Road dispatch
- Supervise, train, and motivate terminal staff to achieve performance and safety targets
- Develop schedules and assign duties to ensure adequate coverage
- Conduct performance reviews and address employee relations issues
- Prepare and manage the terminal's annual operating budget
- Control costs and optimize resource utilization
- Review and approve invoices, procurement, and capital expenditures
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and contractors
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding shipments, schedules, and terminal operations
- Resolve customer complaints or service issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies such as OSHA, DOT, EPA, or local port authority standards
- Lead and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and safety meetings
- Oversee maintenance and repair of terminal equipment and facilities
- Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary materials and supplies
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
